Following the example of Jesus Christ, who came not to be served but to serve, at CCFSD we commit to selflessly serving others. Through the generous grants of our donors and partners, we serve the spiritual, educational, and social needs of our Catholic community.

Institutions''We can't do the work we do without the generosity of the community and the Catholic Community Founation San Diego (CCFSD) has been instrumental in helping us to get that done. CCFSD has been able to introduce us to additional donors, and as a result, there has been an additional source of revenue.
In 2020, everyone was particularly challenged because of the pandemic it was no less so here at Father Joe's Village and so the work has had to continue, and the Catholic Community Foundation of San Diego has worked alongside us to be able to provide the funding that we need in order to be able to do our work that support people off the streets and into self-sufficiency".

Thanks to our partnership with the Catholic Community Foundation, we successfully renovated and finalized a dedicated science lab on our campus! This space provides students with the opportunity to conduct experiments and engage in hands-on, practical learning in a proper lab setting. We are deeply grateful to the Catholic Community Foundation for helping bring this vision to life and for supporting our mission: to foster a faith-filled Catholic Christian community in an environment of academic excellence where students are empowered to realize their full potential.

For years, Daniel lived in survival mode. He moved from shelter to shelter, carrying everything he owned in a single backpack. It was during this difficult chapter in his life that Daniel found Doors of Change. The team worked tirelessly to understand Daniel’s needs and connect him with resources to begin rebuilding his life. He has not only overcome unimaginable odds but is now building a future filled with possibility—a future he once thought was out of reach.
One success story for youth we are able to serve, thanks to the generous donation from Catholic Community Foundation San Diego.

The Evangelical Catholic received a grant from the Catholic Community Foundation of San Diego. As an example of a recent impact story from one of our ministries, Reach More Mission Training, Briana Gonzalez, a Division I athlete learned how to bring her faith out from the sidelines. ''I love that it challenged me to pray and read Scripture every day, to share my faith with people I wouldn't normally hang out with, and to truly listen to Jesus and to others. I'd never known my faith in that way before.''

Individuals & Families"Denise and I chose to create a Donor Advised Fund (DAF) and partner with the Catholic Community Foundation of San Diego (CCF) because of our shared Catholic values. Our faith is at the center of our lives and this CCF is the center of our charitable giving.
What we love about the DAF it allows us to contribute a lump sum annually, or whenever we choose, and receive a single tax receipt. We don't have to worry about keeping track of tax receipts from each charity. Another great aspect of using a DAF is it allows us time to prayerfully research the nonprofit organizations we wish to support.
Much of our charitable giving is centered on Catholic organizations; however, using the DAF also allows us to support non-Catholic charities that match up with our gifting criteria. We look forward to working with the CCF for many generations in our family."
