- Who we are
  
  Founded in 2015, Catholic Community Foundation of San Diego is a 501(c)(3) charitable organization with a mission to foster and amplify Catholic philanthropy.
  
  We partner with institutions and individuals to promote giving, ethical investing, and grant making to benefit our Catholic community in San Diego and Imperial Counties.

  We partner with institutions and individuals to make giving plans in accordance with our Catholic faith.
  
  For institutions such as parishes, schools, and ministries, we host endowments and provide tools and strategies to support their long-term growth and stability.
  
  We work with individuals and families to make giving plans that align with their values, creating a legacy for generations.
  
  We steward the financial investments of our partners according to Catholic Values Investing standards, growing them to increase our partners’ giving capacity.
  
  We distribute grants on behalf of our donors and institutional partners to organizations serving the spiritual, educational, and social needs of our Catholic community. Together, we make a positive impact and strengthen our community.

  We are a tax-exempt nonprofit foundation under civil law and an autonomous pious foundation formed under canon law.
  We serve as the investment partner to Catholic parishes, schools, and ministries, providing financial stability for your mission. By investing the charitable funds of our donors, we help to grow giving potential.
  The Foundation is independent from the Diocese of San Diego and has its own Board of Trustees that governs all operations and actions by the Foundation.
